C. Melchers GmbH & Co. KG Singapore Branch offers interesting internship opportunities and thereby helps young people on the road to a successful professional future. To get a sound impression and experience of working in a global German company located in Singapore, we suggest a minimum time frame of six months. Shorter periods can only be considered exceptionally.
What you can expect
Working in a company abroad will enable you to work in an international team, with an absorbing culture. You will most likely work on an independent project and be able to contribute your ideas and skills that you have developed during your studies.
Depending on the department you apply for, you might also be able to pick up information and experiences through contact with customers.

Work permit
Please note, that under the current immigration policies it is not easy to get a work permit. Hence, we can only accept trainees who qualify for the WHP / Work Holiday Pass as it is advertised on the webpages of the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore. Upon confirmation of your eligibility for the WHP, please send your application to us.
Remuneration
Remuneration shall not be more than S$1,000.00 per month, pending on qualification and duration. There will be 1 day annual leave per month plus any public holidays, which fall within the training period. Any other expenses such as health insurance, accommodation and airfares will be borne by the trainee.
