The Group is managed by a diverse leadership team of General Managers, Department Managers and Managing Directors who independently manage our various entities and departments; they report to our Managing Director based in Singapore:

Alexander C. Melchers, PBM, BBM – 30 Years Asian Experience
General Manager & Managing Director, Singapore and Malaysia

Originally from Bremen, Germany, Mr Melchers has been based in Singapore and Malaysia since 1997. After army and vocational training he achieved a degree in business (finance and accounting) from the University of St Gallen. He then joined P&G with a focus on marketing in Asia. He leads the Singapore and Malaysian operations of the Melchers Group and acts as Director in various entities. He is also an INSEAD certified Director (IDP) and member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID).

He serves as Vice President of the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) and Advisory council member of the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce on an honorary basis and is active in various other community groups.
